A Note on Notes

Building a startup is lonely. As a leader, you are constantly stretched in a million different directions, and you have to put on a positive face for your employees, your investors, your customers, prospective investors, prospective customers, and sometimes even your family.

Most of what I write publicly represents the company: LinkedIn posts, the Clearly AI blog, investor updates. This site is different. It’s a space for reflections that are personal and not official company positions.

Posts fall into two categories: Notes and Guides.

  • Notes are like Field Notes - written off-the-cuff about what is top of mind as I build Clearly AI

  • Guides are for structured and polished pieces, often drawn from questions I get from fellow founders and security professionals.

This site is a record of the decisions, mistakes, tensions, and lessons that don’t always make it into company updates.
